From London to France on a ship!!

Before arriving to France we enjoyed the boat ride from Dover to Calais port. The images from the film Titanic came to my mind. The serenity and unending space made me calm and I felt intoxicated by the beauty of the sea. People from my group started clicking photos.

Clicking group photos, selfies, photos of the couples made the  atmosphere on the ship very lively.  After the photo session the group dispersed in different parts of the ship for drinks and some like me were simply sitting to enjoy the beauty of the unfathomable sea. The endless deep blue sea looked enigmatic. As a child I was attracted towards nature and this ship ride embalmed my spirits.

Looking at the vast expanse thought came to my mind that the tranquil sea can also become ferocious. One and a half hour ride came to an end and I left wistfully looking forward to more exciting things in France. We reached Paris in the evening.

Next day we woke up with excitement to see the Eiffel tower. The highest metallic structure of France is 320 meters tall and weighs 10,100. The moment my eyes fell on the huge structure I marvelled at the intricate work of the iron but it failed  to capture my heart.

People in queue to go inside Eiffel tower

We also came across Eiffel Tower once again in the evening during the boat ride  and it looked radiant with orange lights. The moment people saw it they got up from their seats and took shots from the camera and some were also busy making the videos of the radiant tower.

On the other hand people who were enjoying the ride in quietude were disturbed by the sudden movement of the people on the boat to get the best shot of the Eiffel tower which dazzled brilliantly.

During the boat ride my most endearing moments were passing over the under bridges over our heads. We looked up at the people standing on the bridge from the distance and the moment we came closer strangers waved, cheered and also blew kisses and that touched my heart. This was my moment memorable moment during my stay in France.
